Witnessing the rage of my collaborator at Natalie Riess and Sarah Goetter’s more human or anime take on cats, which I find rather charming, I was inspired to make my own version of Macareux, Serpette’s Coin, with a portrait of my own sweet furball as reference. To this day it’s one of the best cat’s I’ve drawn, there’s a reason that’s Ghehthruh’s job.” – Ir!s
